Jupiter is the fifth planet in the solar system.

This planet  is impressive with its large mass and attracted my eyes with its geometric patterns and beautiful color.

Concept

During this fashion design project in Pratt Institute, I took the nature of Jupiter and designed the “space suit” called Fifth.

Material

​

The suit is mainly made of space cotton, a kind of fabric nowadays widely used in the fashion industry took advance in its flexibility and easy to form a shape. 

The hardest part of this project was the helmet. The ideal material was glass but was abandoned by the weight. I finally chose to use two plastic hemispheres and assembled them together, satisfied the requirement of a light weight.
